Pricing – How much?

Pricing: You Get What You Pay For!

Before delving into our pricing details, we’d like to clarify the critical factors surrounding the cost of our puppies.

Why Choose Clay Acres Frenchies?

At Clay Acres Frenchies, we firmly believe that quality is invaluable, and we stand by it. When you welcome a French Bulldog into your life, you’re making a long-term commitment to a loyal companion who could be by your side for well over a decade. This is why selecting a reputable breeder who prioritizes the health and happiness of their dogs is crucial. I have a lot of people contact us looking for a $1000 dog because they want “just a pet”. I know these people will ultimately go elsewhere, but I try to respond to every email, message, phone call, etc. in detail and try to educate and explain why our dogs cost what they do. Just know there is a huge difference between a $1000 dog and someone who has put the time energy and effort into a quality French Bulldog.

Price: You truly do get what you pay for…

Quality and Pricing

The $1000 dog will typically come from a backyard breeder that does no health testing and provides the bare minimum of care for their puppies and will generally sell their puppies to anyone that shows up with the cash. These are the dogs that typically end up in shelters, looking for new homes, or on death row. These are the true “Greeders” of the breeding world that has no regard for the health of the animals they are breeding and the puppies they are producing. They are legitimately breeding for money. They are typically just as uneducated as the buyers purchasing the puppies. Unsuspecting buyers think they are getting a good deal because they got a purebred dog for much cheaper! Unfortunately, there are no “good deals” on dogs… as I said earlier you get what you pay for and ultimately you are paying for heartbreak.  We do extensive health testing, and pedigree research to ensure the quality of your new Frenchie.

We understand that the price of a French Bulldog may fade from memory, but the quality never will. That’s why we’re dedicated to delivering top-tier quality and service at Clay Acres Frenchies. Our clients return to us time and again because we provide incomparable service and quality puppies for their families.

Deposits

We require a $500 deposit to secure your place in our reservation list. It’s important to note that this deposit is non-refundable unless specific arrangements have been made. We do not issue deposit refunds if individuals opt to acquire a puppy from another source, as this deposit is intended to secure a spot in our breeding program.

Typically, we only accept deposits once puppies are born, which means you generally have an idea of the available puppies before making any commitment. Please feel free to contact us directly for specific pricing information related to each specific litter. To hold a puppy, a deposit is required, and the remaining balance is due at the time of pickup, typically when the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age.

Pricing:  The pricing for each puppy will be listed on the Available Puppies page.

At Clay Acres Frenchies, our primary goal is to ensure that our puppies are placed in loving homes where they will be regarded as cherished family members. For this reason, our puppies are offered as pets only, with limited AKC registration.

It’s important to note that the allocation of Breeding Rights with FULL AKC Registration is restricted and subject to approval. If approved, the cost of Full AKC Registration, which includes Breeding Rights, will be higher than the cost of limited registration.  Please inquire about Full Registration pricing.
