📋 Potty Training Part One: Establishing a Routine

• 🐾 Frequent Outdoor Breaks: Take your puppy outside regularly—first thing in the morning, after meals, after naps, and before bed. Consistency helps reinforce the right habits.
• 🍽️ Scheduled Feeding: Feed your puppy on a consistent schedule. This helps regulate digestion and makes it easier to predict potty needs.
• 👀 Recognize the Signs: Watch for cues like sniffing, circling, or whining—these are signs your puppy may need to go out.
• 📍 Designated Potty Spot: Always bring your puppy to the same spot outside. Familiar scents help reinforce where it’s appropriate to go.
• 🧍 Constant Supervision: During house training, keep a close eye on your puppy when they’re indoors. If you can’t watch them, consider crate time.
• 🪵 Crate Training: Crates can be an excellent tool for helping puppies develop bladder control, especially at night or while you’re away.
